If you are a teacher, why not encourage your students to participate in this project? Perhaps run a school-wide competition to write a geographical news article and share the best stories with us. You can download a poster to encourage students to participate here.
How do I submit my article?
To begin with, make sure your article meets the guidelines for submission (see below). Then send the article and any media to email@example.com
Guidelines for submission
To stand the best chance of being published on the site please make sure your article:
- is original;
- is accurate;
- is of interest to other geographers;
- includes original media (photographs and images accepted);
- does not promote a product or service offered by a company;
- does not include links to products or services; and
- has been checked for spelling and punctuation errors.
We cannot guarantee all submissions will be published, but we’ll try to add as many as we can. If you are not sure your article is relevant please get in touch before you write it.
Submissions are welcome from people of all ages. If you are aged below 18 we will only publish your first name and surname initial.
We are unable to enter into correspondence if your article is not accepted. We cannot offer any form of payment or reward for any contributions. We’re in this for the love of geography!
